Are You Still Brewing Your Chai the Old Tedious Traditional way?

With winter holiday season in full swing, there is always someone at the door; like your friend, family or may be your colleague. It’s a perfect occasion to spend some time with your friends and family. But, then this also means making endless round of kitchen to brew countless cups of tea from morning till evening. If this is your story, there is a better way of doing things. You don’t have to spend your vacation in the kitchen brewing tea the traditional way.

Though it’s always fun to brew up a steaming pot of tea from loose tea leaves, not everyone may have the luxury of time, especially during holiday season when there is so much fun to do and the days are short. Fortunately, there is something called as instant tea, which helps you prepare a cup of tea really fast. Instant tea comes in a powder form which you can mix with hot water to prepare a cup of tea in no time.

Though instant tea is already around for some time now, it hasn’t got the kind of publicity, coffee enjoys. However, people are slowly become aware of the weird rollercoaster energy cycle that coffee causes, which is just not conducive for steady stream of productivity. Many people have begun to make a shift to much safer options, such as instant tea. Tea bags are also an option, but since they usually use low quality scraps leftover from higher quality loose leaf, such as dust tea, therefore instant tea scores more points.

Instant tea is made from natural tea leaves, that means instant tea not only offers convenience and taste, it also brings to you all the benefits of tea. Tea contains many natural compounds such as polyphenols, flavonoids and catechins, which is effective in enhancing your body’s defense system and protecting it against an array of health related concerns; by fighting off free radicals present in the body. Tea also contains fluoride which is beneficial for your teeth and has bacteria killing properties besides controlling bad breath and the formation of plaque.

Tea has been the subject of extensive research for last few decades because of its health promoting properties. Studies have found that tea drinkers have lower blood pressure. Tea is also found to lower cholesterol and protect against heart disease.

Instant tea is a highly processed tea and so it contains lesser amounts of antioxidants, but nevertheless it contains all the natural compounds that are helpful in promoting good health.
